Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using hobbsdisplays.com.au or placing an order with Hobbs Displays. By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, you must not use our website or services.


1. General

Hobbs Displays supplies commercial-grade display fixtures and related products. All purchases are subject to these Terms & Conditions and the policies referenced herein.

These Terms apply to all users, including browsers, customers, and trade purchasers.


2. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, logos, product designs, and branding, is the property of Hobbs Displays or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any content without prior written consent.

Any content submitted to Hobbs Displays (including reviews, feedback, or images) may be used by us for marketing or operational purposes without compensation.


3. Use of Website

You agree not to:

  • Use the website for unlawful purposes

  • Interfere with site functionality or security

  • Upload malicious code

  • Harvest personal data

  • Impersonate another person or entity

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for misuse.

Website availability is not guaranteed and may be interrupted for maintenance or technical reasons.


4. Product Information & Images

Product images are for illustrative purposes only.

While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy:

  • Colours, finishes, and proportions may vary

  • Specifications may change without notice

It is the customer’s responsibility to confirm suitability, dimensions, and specifications before ordering.


5. Pricing & Orders

  • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD)

  • Prices may change without notice

  • Orders may be cancelled where pricing or listing errors occur

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at our discretion, including where information provided is incorrect or incomplete.


6. Payment

Full payment or agreed deposits must be received before dispatch.

For customised or made-to-order products:

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed


7. Delivery & Risk

Delivery is conducted under commercial freight conditions.

Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Delivery is kerbside / ground-level only

  • Tailgate service is included where accessible

  • No inside placement, stair carry, or unpacking

Risk passes to the customer once goods are dispatched from our warehouse.


8. Freight Damage

Freight damage is not a warranty issue.

All damage claims must:

  • Be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery

  • Include photos of packaging/crate and damaged items

Claims reported outside this timeframe will not be accepted.


9. Assembly Responsibility

Unless assembly services are purchased from Hobbs Displays:

  • Products are supplied flat-packed

  • Assembly is the customer’s responsibility

Damage caused by incorrect handling or assembly is not covered under warranty or refund policies.


10. Returns, Refunds & Warranty

All purchases are subject to the following policies:

  • Return & Refund Policy

  • Non-Refundable Items & Situations

  • Product Warranty Policy

  • Interstate Orders – Terms & Conditions

  • Customised Orders – Terms & Conditions

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

Warranty coverage is limited to manufacturing defects only, as outlined in the Product Warranty Policy.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Hobbs Displays is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

  • Liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion

  • Delivery, assembly, reinstallation, and downtime costs are excluded

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law where applicable.


12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Hobbs Displays against any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

  • Misuse of products

  • Breach of these Terms

  • Incorrect information supplied by you


13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia and Australia.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.


14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The latest version will be published on our website and applies immediately upon posting.
