Hobbs Displays Product Warranty Policy

Effective: 1 January 2026

Hobbs Displays supplies commercial-grade display fixtures designed for retail, commercial, and institutional environments. This Product Warranty Policy outlines what is covered, what is excluded, and how warranty claims are assessed.

1. Warranty Coverage

1.1 Warranty Period

Hobbs Displays provides a 12-month structural warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects under normal and intended commercial use.

1.2 What Is Covered

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in structural components

  • Faults arising from defective materials or workmanship

  • Structural failures occurring under normal use and within the product’s intended purpose

Approved warranty remedies may include repair, replacement of parts, or replacement of the product, at Hobbs Displays’ discretion.

2. What Is NOT Covered

This warranty does not cover:

  • Glass breakage after delivery

  • Freight or transit damage (refer to Section 3)

  • Damage caused during or after assembly

  • Incorrect or incomplete assembly

  • Failure to follow supplied instructions or guidelines

  • Handling damage, impact damage, or damage caused by movement after delivery

  • Cosmetic wear and tear, including scratches or minor imperfections

  • Damage caused by misuse, overloading, or improper use

  • Electrical issues caused by incorrect installation, modification, or unauthorised wiring

  • Damage caused by site conditions, including uneven floors or inadequate clearances

  • Damage caused by third-party contractors or installers

3. Freight Damage vs Warranty (Important)

Freight or transit damage is not a warranty issue.

All freight-related damage must be reported:

  • Within 7 calendar days of delivery, and

  • With clear photos of the external packaging/crate and the damaged item(s)

Damage reported outside this timeframe is not covered under warranty, return, or refund policies.

4. Assembly Responsibility

Unless assembly services are purchased directly from Hobbs Displays:

  • All products are supplied flat-packed

  • Assembly is the customer’s responsibility

Damage caused by incorrect handling, storage, or assembly is not covered under warranty.

5. Warranty Claim Process

5.1 Submitting a Claim

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing via email and include:

  • Order number or proof of purchase

  • Clear description of the issue

  • Supporting photos and/or videos

5.2 Assessment

Hobbs Displays reserves the right to:

  • Request additional information

  • Request inspection of the product or affected components

  • Determine whether the issue qualifies as a warranty matter

5.3 Remedy

If a claim is approved, Hobbs Displays will determine the appropriate remedy, which may include:

  • Repair

  • Replacement of parts

  • Replacement of the product

Delivery, removal, reinstallation, and assembly costs are not covered under warranty.

Refunds are issued only where repair or replacement is not viable, at Hobbs Displays’ discretion.

6. Manufacturer Warranties

Some components may be covered by a separate manufacturer’s warranty. Where applicable, those warranties apply only to the specific component and do not extend or override Hobbs Displays’ warranty terms.

7. Relationship to Other Policies

This Product Warranty Policy operates in conjunction with:
